
WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL SWEPT BY GOLDEN RAMS
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/1/23) The Dominican University women's volleyball team were swept by the visiting Golden Rams of West Chester University, 25-19, 25-20, 25-19, in a non-conference match played tonight on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
After the loss, Dominican now stands at 9-18 overall on the season, while WCU improves to 10-13.
Junior outside hitter Kaitlyn Carr (Rogers, Ark.) led the Chargers with 11 kills and 11 digs. Her 11 kills move her into seventh place all-time in Lady Charger history with 786 career kills.
Aaliyah Ellis (League City, Texas) recorded nine kills, a .533 attack percentage and three block assists in the loss.
Setter Maura Asadourian (Schertz, Texas) tallied 14 assists and six digs, while libero Nicolette Piscopo (Wantagh, N.Y.) posted a career high 16 digs.
Elizabeth Perez (Miami, Fla.) added five kills and eight digs in the loss.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Georgian Court University in a CACC match.
