
DOMINICAN DOWNS CALDWELL
Caldwell, N.J. (10/16/24) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team swept the Cougars of Caldwell University in conference action at the Newman Center in Caldwell, N.J.
The Chargers improve to 7-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play while Caldwell falls to 1-15 overall and 1-6 in the CACC.
The Chargers opened the match with a 25-14 win in the first set and followed with a 25-13 win in the second set. Dominican completed the sweep with a 25-17 win in the third set.
Elizabeth Perez led the Chargers with a match high 18 kills and 18 points. Perez also picked up 11 digs.
Kaitlyn Carr finished with 10 kills and four service aces for 14 points. Carr also added nine digs in the win.
Kaeden Sanstead added a match high 32 assists, seven digs, and three service aces. Linda Armao Peng added 11 digs while Aaliyah Ellis recorded seven kills and one solo block.
The Chargers return to action this Saturday when they visit Goldey-Beacom College for a CACC contest at 12:00 PM.
