WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES 19TH AT HIGHLANDER INVITATIONAL

Newark, N.J. (10/12/24)  The Dominican University New York women's cross country team finished in 19th place today at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), at Branch Brook Park.

The Lady Chargers finished with a team score of 546 to finish 19th out of 31 competing teams.

Freshman Kaelyn Prince was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers in the 5k race as she took 49th place among the 209 competitors with a time of 20:52.2 (06:43.0 average).

The Chargers return to action next Sunday when they compete at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships to be held at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Thomas Jefferson University.
