New Haven, CT (6/15/12) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) introduced its All-Academic Team for the 2011-12 spring athletic season today. A total of 105 student-athletes from the 14 conference schools across five different sports have earned a place on the list, which is five more than in 2010-11.

Orangeburg, NY (6/1/12) Dominican College softball players, Delaney Childers and Ashley Corrao have been named 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II Softball All-Stars as was announced yesterday. Childers also earned the honor of being named the ECAC Pitcher of the Year.

Centerville, MA (5/31/12) The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has named Dominican College women's lacrosse player, Allison Smithwick, the Rookie of the Year as was announced on Wednesday evening. Smithwick is one of two players from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) to be named a 2012 ECAC Division II Women's Lacrosse All-Star.

Orangeburg, NY (5/16/12) Dominican College softball player, Delaney Childers, has earned 2012 Daktronics All-America Honorable Mention accolades as was announced by Daktronics, Inc last evening. Previously, Childers was named the Daktronics East Region Pitcher of the Year and to the First Team.

New Orleans, LA (5/16/12) The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named All-Region honorees for outdoor track & field in Division II. The top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region’s top three have earned the All-Region distinction for the 2012 outdoor season. Dominican College senior, Samantha Klunk has been named to the team.

New Castle, DE (5/11/12) The Dominican College baseball team, seeded third in the tournament, was eliminated from the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championships after falling to the top-seeded Golden Falcons of Felician College, 7-4 this evening in a game played at Wilson Stadium. In early action, DC eliminated Bloomfield College, 6-3.

New Castle, DE (5/10/12) The Dominican College baseball team, the third seed in the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Tournament, fell to the second-seeded Wildcats of Wilmington University, 1-0 in first round action played at Wilson Stadium. In the other game of the day, top top-seeded Felician College Golden-Falcons defeated the fourth seed, Bloomfield College 5-1.

Orangeburg, NY (5/10/12) Dominican College softball players, Delaney Childers, Ashley Corrao and Julie Plante* have been named to the 2012 National Fast Pitch Coach's Association (NFCA) Division II All-East Region Teams as was announced today. Childers and Corrao were named to the First Team, while Plante received Second Team accolades.

Lakewood, NJ (5/10/12) The Dominican College women's track and field squad wrapped up the 2012 season at the CACC-ECC Challenge held this past Friday at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. Senior Samantha Klunk won the steeplechase, while the 4x400 relay team of Renee Roncace, Jessica Avila, Ashley Hodges, and Amber Lacey took the top spot in that event.

Orangeburg, NY (5/9/12) Dominican College baseball players, Andrew Camardella, Tony Blake and Oliver Christensen have earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) accolades as was announced yesterday by the conference office. In balloting done by the league's 11 head coaches, Camardella was named to the First Team, while Blake and Christense received Second Team honors.

Orangeburg, NY (5/8/12) The Dominican College baseball team defeated Caldwell College, 6-5, in the single elimination portion of the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Baseball Championship this afternoon in a game played at Veteran's Memorial Park. With the in the Chargers, the third seed in the tournament, advance to the double-elimination part of the tournament which will take place May 10-12th.
