Jersey City, N.J. (1/19/22) The Nyack College women's basketball team defeated the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 76-68, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
Jersey City, N.J. (1/19/22) The Nyack College women's basketball team defeated the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 76-68, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center.
Following the loss the Lady Chargers are now 7-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play, while the Warriors improve to 5-6 overall and 4-2 in the CACC.
Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) led three players in double figures for Dominican as she recorded 15 points and four assists.
Graduate student Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) netted 14 points and had a team leading seven rebounds, while Samantha McClutchy (Washington Township, N.J.) also scored 14 points and five rebounds.
Olivia Levy (Stony Point, N.Y.) dished out a career high seven assists and six rebounds with Taylor Tomlinson tallying six points and six boards in the loss.
The Warriors were led by Carly Bolivar who scored a game best 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Dominican is scheduled to return to action on Sunday afternoon as they travel to Holy Family University.
