Sophomore forward Travis Cook (Middletown, N.Y.) highlighted five players in double figures with 16 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Daraja Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) netted 15 points and four steals, while Gerrel Irvin (Bay Shore, N.Y.) scored 14 points and four rebounds.
Rookie Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) added 10 points and a team high five assists in the win.
Jonathan Garcia (Springfield, Mass.) grabbed a team best six boards, while Ray Pender (Bronx, N.Y.) contributed 10 points.
GCU led 5-0 to start the contest, but the Chargers charged back with a 24-11 run to claim a 24-16 advantage and would cruise into the locker room with a 39-27 lead.
Dominican would lead by as many as 31 points as they outscored their opponents, 43-25, in the final 20 minutes of action for the win.
The Chargers will take the short road trip to conference foe, Nyack College, this coming Monday night.
