In a contest that featured nine tied scores and four lead changes, the Bears outscored Dominican 44-33 in the second half en route to the win.
The Chargers trailed 34-29 with 4:44 to play in the first half when the team went on an 8-0 run to claim a 38-36 advantage at the intermission.
Freshman guard Daniel Grant (Middletown, N.Y.) netted 10 points (5-7 from the floor) in the first frame.
Bloomfield opened the second half with the first eight points and led by as many as 17 points with under seven minutes left. Junior Gerrel Irvin (Bay Shore, N.Y.) began a DC run with a free throw and back-to-back-to-back three point buckets cut the deficit to 10 points. The Bears would lead 80-69 with 37 ticks left, but sophomore E.J. Smith (Nyack, N.Y.) closed out the game with two free throws.
Sophomore Sayon Charles (Staten Island, N.Y.) led four Chargers in double figures as he came off the bench to score 17 points and five rebounds.
Irvin recorded the team's only double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Rookie Daraja Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) also scored 12 points and added six boards.
Grant finished with 11 points and four assists.
DC ends the regular season with an overall record of 17-11 and a CACC record of 12-7.
Dominican has earned the second seed in the North Division and will host a CACC Quarterfinal game against the third seed in the South Division, Goldey-Beacom College, this coming Saturday.
