Lyndhurst, N.J. (3/29/17) The Dominican College women's lacrosse team shut out host, Felician University, 17-0, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.
With the win, Dominican improves to 3-3 overall and 3-0 in conference play.
Dominican netted 14 goals in the first half, while adding three in the second in the win.
Senior attacker Haliann Fitzgerald (Walden, N.Y.) tied her career high with five goals in the win.
Katie Dascher (Valley Stream, N.Y.) and Alayna Heegan (North Babylon, N.Y.) netted three goals each.
Freshman Jenna Fox (Stony Point, N.Y.) and Amber June (Stony Point, N.Y.) both scored two goals, while Shayne Gallagher (Blauvelt, N.Y.) and Taylor Sobel (Oradell, N.J.) had one goal a-piece.
Goalie Cara Moran (Tomkins Cove, N.Y.) made two saves.
The Lady Chargers will host Wilmington University this coming Saturday at 4pm at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
