GOLF SITS IN THIRD PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF 10TH ANNUAL CHARGER CHALLENGE
Suffern, N.Y. (9/23/17) The Dominican College men's golf team is in third place after round one of the 10th Annual Charger Challenge, hosted by Dominican College at the Spook Rock Golf Course. The Chargers had a first round combined score of 302 to sit behind St. Thomas Aquinas College and Concordia College.

Junior Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) sits in a tie for second place overall with a first round score of 72.
Bryce Tickner (Victoria, British Columbia) shot a 73 this afternoon to be tied for fifth place, while Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) is tied for 13th place with a first round score of 77.
Junior Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) is tied for 25th place with a first round score of 80 and Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) is tied for 33rd place with an 81.
Dominican also has six players playing as individuals in the tournament with freshman Juan David Fajardo (Bogota, Colombia) also being tied for second place with a 72. Sophomore Jayce Robinson (Sparks, Nevada) shot a 75 to be tied for ninth place, while Jacob DeMoura (Orlando, Fla.) is tied for 18th place with a 78.
Arthur Albero (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) are both tied for 21st place as they shot a 79 and Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) is tied for 25th place with an 80.
The Chargers return to the course tomorrow morning.
