HILL RECEIVES CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS
New Haven, Conn. (7/13/21) Twenty-six (26) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 26 honorees represent 13 of the 14 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.

LIST OF HONOREES: 2020-21 CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, Conn. (7/13/21) Twenty-six (26) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2020-21 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The 26 honorees represent 13 of the 14 CACC member institutions that have a varsity program in the sport.
Dominican's Donnell Hill (Staten Island, N.Y.) makes his first appearance on the All-Academic Team this year as he maintains a cumulative grade point average of 3.53 in his major of Financial Management.
University of the Sciences led the way with four honorees, including Thomas Melonja's team-best 3.78 cumulative grade point average in his major of pharmaceutical & healthcare business. Georgian Court University and Thomas Jefferson were tied for second with the most honored student-athletes, as the two schools had three honorees apiece.
Bloomfield College, the 2020-21 CACC Men's Basketball Champion, had two players make the academic squad, including Tariq McKenith, who made the the team for the third time with his BC best 3.65 GPA in his major of sociology.
A pair of student-athletes on the team earned GPAs of 3.90 or higher, including Holy Family University's Joseph Pestkowski (3.92, criminal justice) and Jefferson's Antonin Kemkeng (3.90, finance).
Bloomfield's Ben Basten and Post University's Jonathan Duvivier were each named to the CACC All-Academic Team for the second time in their respective careers.
