2024 CACC MEN'S LACROSSE PRESEASON POLL RELEASED

New Haven, Conn. (1/31/24) Georgian Court University on Wednesday was picked first in the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The Lions, who claimed last year's CACC regular season crown, earned 61 points and five first-place votes in the voting that was conducted by the league's nine head coaches in the sport.
Chestnut Hill College, which narrowly defeated GCU in last spring's CACC Championship Final, was second in the voting with 57 points and three first-place nods. It marked the third-consecutive CACC Championship for the Griffins in men's lacrosse.
Wilmington University rounded out the top three of the poll in third place with 52 points and the other final first-place vote. The Wildcats have appeared two of the last three CACC Championship Finals.
The regular season gets underway this weekend with Post University in action, followed by several more teams in action the following weekend (Feb. 9-10). The regular season is a buildup to the 2024 CACC Men's Lacrosse Championship which will be held the week of April 28-May 5. The top-five teams in the standings following the regular season will earn a bid to the post-season tournament.
