SPARTANS UPEND CHARGERS IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
Sparkill, N.Y. (4/14/24) The Dominican University New York men's tennis team battled its crosstown rival, St. Thomas Aquinas College, and fell 4-0 this afternoon in a rain-shortened affair at the Riley Family Tennis Courts.
The Spartans swept the three doubles matches to earn the point and won three single matches before the skies opened. With the scoring being 4-0, thus the Spartans winning the match, it was decided that the contest would end to ensure the safety of the competitors.
Dominican now stands at 1-6 on the season.
SINGLES RESULTS
The Chargers return to action on Wednesday afternoon when they travel to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe, Chestnut Hill College.
