WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISH SEASON AT 2019 CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Philadelphia, Pa. (10/27/19) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished the 2019 season at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships held this rainy morning at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
Philadelphia, Pa. (10/27/19) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished the 2019 season at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships held this rainy morning at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
Dominican finished in 10th place overall out of 12 competing teams with a score of 299 in the 5k race.
The top finisher for the Lady Chargers was sophomore Ann McCormack (Pearl River, N.Y.) who took 47th place with a time of 24:16.1 (7:48.6 average mile).
Desiree Joseph-Jarvis (Livingston, N.J.) finished in 55th place with a time of 25:04.5 (8:04.2 average mile) and Cheneda Jemedy (Brockton, Mass.) ran the course in a time of 26:30.9 (8:32.0 average mile) to take 64th place.
Sophomore Marissa Murphy (Bethpage, N.Y.) ran a time of 29:09.2 (9:22.9 average mile) to finish in 71st place, while Djazmina Jean-Pierre (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took 73rd place with a time of 29:50.1 (9:36.1 average mile).
Angelina Abate (Old Tappan, N.J.) finished in 76th place with a time of 31:10.0 (10:01.8 average mile) and Jada Hammond (Nyack, N.Y.) had a time of 34:11.6 (11:00.3 average mile) to finish in 81st place.
