MEN'S BASKETBALL CRUISE TO VICTORY OVER GOLDEN FALCONS
Rutherford, N.J. (11/30/22) The Dominican University New York men's basketball team cruised to an 85-72 victory tonight over host, Felician University, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division contest held in Joal & Joseph Job Gymnasium.

With the win #2/#20 Dominican improves to 7-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play, while the Golden Falcons fall to 3-3 overall and 0-1 in the CACC.
Guard Joshuel White (Paterson, N.J.) delivered a career high and team best 18 points(6-9 from the floor), while tying his career high with three steals.
Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted 15 points, four assists and three rebounds while Jaden Honis (Bridgewater, N.J.) added 11 points and three assists.
Brandt Roundtree (Plainfield, N.J.) pulled down eight boards, four assists, two steals and eight points. Forward Emmanuel Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) contributed eight points, eight caroms and two blocks, with Joseph Merrill (Derry, N.H.) also scoring eight points in the win.
The game was tied at 7-all with 17:27 left in the first half when they Chargers charged ahead with a 16-7 run to pull ahead 23-14 with under eleven minutes to go in the half. A 14-7 closing half spurt put Dominican ahead 50-38.
Dominican would not trail in the second half and would shoot 46.2% (12-26) from the floor, 80% (8-10) from the foul line and out rebound their counterparts 18-12 en rougte to the victory.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday afternoon when they host Post University on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center. Tip-off is slated for 3pm.
