MEN'S BASKETBALL CONTINUE WINNING WAYS WITH VICTORY OVER TIGERS

(2/11/23) The Dominican University New York men's basketball team extended their winning streak to five games after defeating the visiting Tigers of Holy Family University, 83-69, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.

With the win Dominican improves to 20-5 overall and 11-4 in CACC play.
Forward Seth Sharif-Brown (Hackensack, N.J.) led four players in double figures with a career high 22 points (9-12 from the floor) and added seven rebounds.
Jaden Honis (Bridgewater, N.J.) added 14 points, six rebounds and six assists, while Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.) pulled down a career high 14 rebounds and completed the double-double with 11 points and four assists.
Guard Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted 10 points and four assists.
The Chargers never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 20 points as Javel Cherry (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) drained a three-point basket with 10:25 left in regulation.
Dominican out rebounded their counterparts, 47-33, and shot 51.6% (33-64) from the floor in the contest.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday February 18th when they host Bloomfield College in CACC action on Coach Baxter Court.
