CHARGERS WRAP UP WEEKEND TRIP WITH HARVARD UNIVERSITY
Cambridge, Mass. (3/23/24) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team fell in four sets to Harvard University this afternoon.
The Chargers opened the match with a 25-23 victory for the 1-0 lead. The Crimson bounced back and won three straight sets on the way to the 3-1 victory.
The Chargers, with the loss, fall to 10-10 overall on the season.
Phinehas Wiley (Cedarburg, Wisc.) recorded a team-high 12 kills and 14 points. Tommaso Falchi (Spoleto, Italy) scored 9.5 points which included five kills, five block assists, and two solo blocks.
Jacob Davidson (Bloomington, Ind.) had nine kills and 10 points while Ayden Shaw (Centennial, Colo.) finished with six kills and eight points.
Luke Koster (Geneva, Ill.) recorded a team-high 33 assists while Tyler Roukey (Hudson, Ohio) finished with a team-high 11 digs.
The Chargers return to conference play next Thursday when they face the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College for their second meeting of the season on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center at 4:00 PM.
