THREE CHARGERS AND PROKOP EARN ALL-CACC HONORS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/1/19) Dominican College golfers Carlos Armas Stenner, Hunter Wescott and Daniel Parker were all named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team as was announced yesterday by commissioner Dan Mara. Head Coach Keith Prokop was named the CACC Coach of the Year for the second time in his career.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (5/1/19) Dominican College golfers Carlos Armas Stenner, Hunter Wescott and Daniel Parker were all named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team as was announced yesterday by commissioner Dan Mara. Head Coach Keith Prokop was named the CACC Coach of the Year for the second time in his career.

Prokop was named the CACC Coach of the Year for leading the Chargers to a terrific 2018-19 campaign that saw Dominican capture the CACC Championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Division II East/Atlantic Super Regional Tournament early in May. Overall, Dominican won four tournaments this season under Prokop's guidance. It marked the second-straight year Prokop won the CACC Coach-of-the-Year Award.

Senior Wescott has had four top five finishes this year, including winning the St. Rose Fall Shootout and a second place finish at the St. Joe's Spring Shootout. He has earned two CACC Golfer of the Week accolades.

Stenner makes his second appearance on the All-CACC Team. He has had five top ten finishes this season with the high finish of second place at the Crab To Go Invitational. He has also earned one CACC Golfer of the Month honors.

Parker has had three top five finishes after opening up the year with a win at the Jefferson match and later followed with second place finishes at the CACC Championship and the Devils Classi.
