CONCORDIA CLIPS MEN'S BASKETBALL IN OVERTIME
Bronxville, N.Y. (1/15/20) The Dominican College men's basketball team fell in overtime to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe, Concordia College, 72-68, this evening in a game played at the Meyer Athletic Complex.

With the loss, Dominican falls to 12-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
Junior Jalen Burgess (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) led all scorers with 22 points and completed the double-double with 12 rebounds.
Jonathan Garcia (Springfield, Mass.) also recorded a double-double with 11 points and tied his career high with a team best 13 rebounds. Jason Copman (Cumberland, Md.) pulled down 11 rebounds, to go along with six points and three assists.
Guard Tavon Ginyard (Brentwood, N.Y.) tallied 16 points, going 14-15 from the foul line, and Daraja Rodwell (Baldwin, N.Y.) dished out a team best five assists.
Dominican trailed 38-34 at the break, but rallied to take a 61-58 advantage with 4:32 left in regulation following a layup from Burgess. DC led 64-60 with just over two minutes to play, but the Clippers scored the last four points of regulation to force the overtime period.
In the overtime period, Concordia outscored Dominican 8-4 to claim the 72-68 win.
The Chargers will host Jefferson this coming Saturday in the 32nd Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game. The game will also be streamed live nationally on the NCAA Division II Facebook and Twitter pages, along with the CACC Network.
