The Chargers fall to 5-1 overall on the season after the loss.
The Chargers were led by Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.) who finished with a team-high 10 points. Copman also added five rebounds. Seth Sharif-Brown (Hackensack, N.J.) provided nine points and five rebounds off the bench.
Brandt Roundtree (Plainfield, N.J.) added eight points as well as four rebounds and four assists. Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) finished the game with seven points and added two assists.
The Falcons were led by Matt Leritz who recorded a double-double with 20 points and 13 boards. Zach Laput added 19 points and eight rebounds. Brian Wright-Kinsey finished with 11 points.
The Falcons got off to a 20-5 run to begin the first half. Bentley continued their strong opening half over the Chargers and entered halftime with a 53-25 lead.
Bentley followed up their strong first half with a strong second half to complete the 95-58 victory.
Justin Copman scored eight of his ten points in the second half while Sharif-Brown scored his seven of nine points in the second half.
The Chargers will look to get back in the win column tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Southern New Hampshire University. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
