MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TAKE EIGHTH AT PURCHASE COLLEGE INVITATIONAL
Purchase, N.Y. (9/8/18) The Dominican College men's cross country team opened the 2018 season with an eighth place finish at the Purchase College Invitational held today on the campus of SUNY Purchase.
Purchase, N.Y. (9/8/18) The Dominican College men's cross country team opened the 2018 season with an eighth place finish at the Purchase College Invitational held today on the campus of SUNY Purchase.
The team compiled a score of 204 to put them in eighth place out of 12 teams competing. The Coast Guard took home the top spot, while USMMA finished second, SUNY Maritime took third, Purchase finished in fourth place and Mount Saint Mary took fifth place.
Senior Darren Guzman (Teaneck, N.J.) was the top finisher for the CHargers as he took 34 place with a time of 30:16.8 in the 8k race.
Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) took 71st place with a time of 32:25.2, while Cameron Whitton (Monroe, N.Y.) finished in 84th place with a time of 33:40.1.
Junior Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) ran a time of 34:17.4 to finish in 90th place and Oscar Vidal (New City, N.Y.) took 103rd place with a time of 35:49.5.
David Jeffers (Florida, N.Y.) had a time of 37:21.1 to finish in 112th place.
The Chargers are back in action on September 22nd when they travel to the Bard College Raptor Invite
