The Chargers extended their winning streak to four straight games and improved to 19-5 overall and 10-4 in conference play.
Emmanuel Smith (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Wahaad Johnson (Brooklyn, N.Y.) each finished with a team-high 17 points. Smith added seven boards while Johnson five boards.
Seth Sharif-Brown (Hackensack, N.J.) added 13 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Justin Copman (Cumberland, Md.) and Joshua Serrano (Amityville, N.Y.) each finished with 11 points. Copman also added seven rebounds and six assists while Serrano recorded three rebounds and three assists.
Jaden Honis (Bridgewater, N.J.) provided eight points off the bench and a team-high seven assists.
Felician was led by Sean McCarthy who recorded a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Etnik Peci added 21 points including a 5-9 mark from three-point range. Deiker Padrino added 13 points.
The Chargers got off to a strong start in the first half by shooting 52.9% from the field and held Felician to 37.9% from the field.
The Chargers finished the first half with their largest lead of the game which was 19 points.
Dominican held a 19 point lead with just over 16 minutes to play and Felician started fighting their way back. Felician outscored Dominican 17-7 over the next four minutes of play to cut the deficit to seven points.
The Chargers answered back to extend back to a double digit lead but Felician used a 12-4 run to cut the deficit to three points with seven minutes to play.
The Chargers never lost the lead and extended the lead to 12 points to help solidify the win. The Chargers finished the game shooting 49.3% from the field and added a 15-18 mark from the free-throw line. The Chargers added 18 second chance points and outscored Felician in the paint 48-22.
Dominican will return to action this Saturday when they host Holy Family University at 5:00 PM.
